The juxtaposition of being raised in an Ohio blue-collar suburb to wading through my twenties in Brooklyn has shaped my writing style -- a mix of grounded and absurd. Drama laced with  humor, magical realism, and even a dash of horror. 
I like my characters to bleed into the grey space.
