Rachael is an Ohio-raised, Brooklyn-based screenwriter, performer and filmmaker.

She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Theatre and Film. Outside of class and work, her spare time was spent acting in student films, performing in the Theatre Department’s shows and goofing around with the improv troup Lady Parts.

Since moving to Brooklyn, she has written and Directed four short films: Two Vodka Cokes, The Essence of Home, Under Changing Skies, and Defining Love; has performed with the improv group Big Brad; taken classes at the Magnet; was the Head Writer for Crashed , a web series she also produced and starred in; and celebrated the premierE of her one act, “Conversations with Joanne” at Soho Playhouse.

Having her eyes set not only on the creative aspects of storytelling, but also on the production side, Rachael worked as a talent production assistant for a year to better understand the ins and outs of filmmaking.

Sing Sing, the last film she worked on as a talent PA, will be released theatrically in July 2024. It is this work experience that restored her confidence in the industry and the healing powers of storytelling.

Her aspiration is to participate in creative experiences that value respect, humaneness, and artistic collaboration as embodied in this production.
